Artist's Description
This started out as a project to restore an old photograph that belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1900 in England. That is the photograph just to the left of the bright red Bass Triangle. On the back of the postcard-type photograph it says, O'Malley boys in Blackpool. So, my thought was to write a few places and inquire if anyone knew the name of the pub or perhaps the year it might have been taken. However, I soon learned that the Bass Triangle was the first registered trademark in England and then I began to learn so much more about the history of this remarkable beer that the subject just deserved a much bigger treatment and my grandmother's old photograph needed to be a part of it. I did so much research! I hope the people who are really dedicated to this beer will like the design. Feel free to leave comments for me. Thanks.
