The search for authenticity. This is my first attempt at digital painting. I'm not very happy with it, but I learned a lot about the technique of brush strokes and textures and another person told me they thought it was really good, so I'll leave it here perhaps for future comparison even.

You'll find in all forms of artwork that people are intereted as much in the steps one took to get to there as must as where their at. Some of my favorite artwork from my favorite artists are from the steps they took along the way. Thank you Megan for sharing a part of your path in learning.
