I chose to represent the concept of medical research as a search for "fighter-cells" by using famous autographed boxing gloves and using the play on words with the Fight Club movie title.
About Megan Dirsa-DuBois
After marching in formation wearing the same outfit as everyone else around me for more than 25 years, I'm finally pursuing my artistic passion. I'm a retired military veteran -- a photo-journalist and newspaper editor -- turned freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Most of my creative work is done embracing a digital paintbrush although I also enjoy acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, and collage.

Love this! It is a fight, for sure. Even a war. Maybe you could do another one depicting it as war. Medical researcher in a tank shooting at pathogens, or something like that. Love the idea and the implementation.
