Artist's Description

This was taken in downtown Fort Pierce. I was happy with the shot because of the way I was able to get the road or pavement into the photograph and also capture the oncoming headlights and the beautiful contrast between the lights of the restaurant and the blue neon of the bike.

Megan Dirsa-DuBois

After marching in formation wearing the same outfit as everyone else around me for more than 25 years, I'm finally pursuing my artistic passion. I'm a retired military veteran -- a photo-journalist and newspaper editor -- turned freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Most of my creative work is done embracing a digital paintbrush although I also enjoy acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, and collage.
