After marching in formation wearing the same outfit as everyone else around me for more than 25 years, I'm finally pursuing my artistic passion. I'm a retired military veteran -- a photo-journalist and newspaper editor -- turned freelance graphic designer and illustrator. Most of my creative work is done embracing a digital paintbrush although I also enjoy acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, and collage.

Hi Megan, I tried to write another comment a few minutes ago and it turned out "blank". So I thought I would try again. I still like this image so very much. It is very creatively done and is so clear. I hope all is well with you Smiles, Anne F/V

Thank you so much Anne. I know it is a hard-fought battle for many people. That's why I thought that the boxing gloves were the best way to illustrate this. I appreciate your comments very much. ~

Oops. I misspelled "Bravo". Smiles to you, Anne

Megan, This is such a memorable and outstanding work of art. We have all been either personally affected by cancer or have loved ones who have. This is a fitting and outstanding tribute for our fight. Braveo! Thank you for your interesting comment about "Anne the Philosopher". Yes it does look like I may have crystal ball on that table, by the way I am philosophizing. Thanks for noticing that picture. F/V
